Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work varying 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend requirements: 1-2 weekends per month Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call required: weekdays 2-3 times per month, weekends 2 times every other month
• Daily caseload: 7-8 echocardiograms for 8-hour shifts, 8-9 for 10-hour shifts
• Floating required to downtown sister facilities
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARDMS RVT/RDCS (AE) OR CCI RCS/RVS, and BLS
• Radiation badge required (agency must provide)
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Charting system: Epic
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• Perform 2-D echo, 3-D echo, color doppler, portable studies, and various specialized procedures
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Parking cost: $20 one-time payment for parking pass (nights and weekends only)
