MRI Technologist Job in Davie, FL

You will work as an MRI Technologist in the MRI department (Unit 734) at HCA Florida University Hospital, a 165-bed facility in Davie, Florida. This is a travel position offering 5x8 evening shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with a duration of 91 days beginning May 4, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,190.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating GE Artist 1.5 MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Documenting patient information and imaging results using the Meditech documentation system
• Performing imaging procedures including spine work and brain imaging
• Conducting breast biopsies
• Responding to on-call requirements as needed
• Collaborating with a team of 4 staff members in the MRI department
• Adhering to facility protocols and safety standards

What you need to bring:

• Current Florida state licensure and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific protocols
• Professional appearance, including black scrubs

You will be based on the first floor of the main building and work alongside experienced MRI professionals. This role is ideal for an Allied Health Professional with solid MRI background looking to gain experience in a hospital setting while traveling.
