RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts with block scheduling to be determined
• Call requirement: minimum 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend
• Daily census of 5-7 patients
• Scrub experience required
• Minimum 1 year experience required (1st time travelers accepted with 3+ years experience)
• Must be able to circulate and provide conscious sedation
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS
• Documentation systems: Cerner, McKesson
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Work with specialized equipment including balloon pumps, angio jet, C-arms (Philips/Siemens), IVUS, and temp pacers
• Handle cardiac procedures: LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, temp pacer, permanent pacer/defib, pericardial effusion, STEMI calls
• Perform IR procedures: venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, TIPS, fistula work
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals is required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
