OR Registered Nurse Job in Bridgeport, WV

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at WVU United Hospital Center, a Level 2 Trauma facility in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a weekly pay of $2,488.32.

Schedule and Shift Details

• Work 4 days of 10-hour shifts with call rotation
• Weekend shifts available Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call rotation includes one weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• One weekend shift call on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday up to 24 hours per 3-month contract
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract

Role and Responsibilities

You will need experience in all areas of the OR and will cross-train to Endoscopy. The facility operates 11 total rooms: 8 OR suites and 3 Endo suites, handling approximately 65 cases per day. Cases include vascular (excluding open hearts), general, orthopedic, neuro, eyes, and ENT.

Equipment and Systems

• Experience with DaVinci Robot is a strong plus as the facility has recently implemented its use
• Equipment includes Baxter pumps, Phillips, and Dynomap
• Charting system: EPIC

Required Certifications and Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification required due to use of moderate sedation
• Must provide a copy of unexpired driver's license with submission
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius to be considered
