CVOR Technologist Job in Omaha, NE

You will work as a Surgical Technologist in the cardiovascular operating room at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, specializing in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Your expertise in Coronary Artery Bypass Graft and Valve Replacement procedures will be essential to this role.

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Five 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week assignment beginning May 11, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,219.20
• Call coverage required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays (typically fewer than 10 shifts per month)
• Weekend call coverage runs from 3:00 PM Friday through Monday 6:30 AM
• May have 1–2 call shifts Monday through Thursday depending on weekend call schedule

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• CST or Military Training accepted
• Driver's license required at time of submittal
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility
• Artificial nails prohibited; refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• EPIC charting system experience is helpful but not required
