Histology Technician Job in Cleveland, OH

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Certified Histology Technician for a 4-week travel assignment at MetroHealth Main Campus in Cleveland, OH. This is a hands-on role in a high-volume hospital-based histology laboratory where you'll contribute directly to patient care through precise specimen processing.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 28 days
• Schedule: 5x8 days (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts)
• Start date: August 17, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,717

Your Responsibilities

• Perform tissue cutting and embedding procedures
• Process lab specimens in a high-volume hospital setting
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in specimen handling
• Support the pathology laboratory workflow

Required Qualifications

• HT (ASCP) certification (must be current prior to start date)
• Experience working in a high-volume hospital-based histology laboratory

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of histology technician experience
• Lab specimen processing experience
• Familiarity with Epic Beaker or similar laboratory information systems

Physical Environment

This role requires you to sit and stand as needed throughout your shift, typical of laboratory work environments.
