RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Full-time position
• Weekends are appointment only with possibility of being asked to work a few hours on a rotating schedule
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1
• Dress code: Any color scrubs
• Administer non-chemotherapy infusions; IV experience is necessary
• Provide routine and complex nursing care, practicing independently in clinical setting
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
• Assess and address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Required certifications: BLS certification from AHA
• Active RN license in state of employment or compact required
