Electrophysiology Lab RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Electrophysiology Lab. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 27, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Work 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week
• Shift start times vary: 0600–1830, 0700–1930, or 0800–2030
• Rotational call requirement: Saturday 0700–1700 and Sunday 0700–1400 approximately once every 4–6 weeks
• Weekly pay: $1,971

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care
• Admit and prep patients for Cath procedures, including pre-procedure checklists, IV starts, and access preparation
• Provide high-level care for Cath Lab patients pre- and post-procedure
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within scope of practice
• Prep patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures including CV and TEE
• Recover patients following Cath procedures who had conscious sedation
• Manage high-risk, high-acuity patients in the Cardiac Observation Unit
• Discharge patients including patient teaching, documentation, and physical discharge

Requirements

• RN license for Arizona or compact state
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience considered from PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center on a case-by-case basis
