ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required, may change based on need
• Floating to other units may be required based on census needs
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the ER field required; first-time travelers will be reviewed based on skill and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Documentation system: EPIC
• Patient ratio experience: 4:1
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS, TN RN License
• Preferred certification: TNCC
• Required clinical skills include: triage, IV placement and maintenance, phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG/ECG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, arterial line management, central line care and management, chest tube insertion and management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, splint application and management, and emergency medication administration
• Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
