CVICU RN Job in Falls Church, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for a 90-day travel assignment in the Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, VA. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating day/night schedule with every-other-weekend and holiday requirements.

About the Role:

• Primary assignment in CICU and CVICU with floating expectations to other ICUs, stepdown, progressive care, IMC, and telemetry units as needed
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 in ICU settings and 1:3 in stepdown units
• Manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Care for patients including post-op CABG, heart and lung transplants, cardiogenic shock, advanced heart failure management, cardiac arrhythmias, lysis, post IR/PCI procedures, and TEVAR
• Demonstrate competency with VV/VA ECMO, IABP, TTM/Arctic Sun, Impella, CRRT, and PA Catheter Guided Therapy
• Read and interpret EKG rhythm strips
• Two-shift floor orientation provided

Qualifications Required:

• 2+ years recent dedicated Cardiac ICU/CCU/CVICU experience
• Virginia RN License or Compact License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent experience and competency with listed cardiac equipment and therapies
• Epic EMR system experience

Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,472.42
• Start date: April 26, 2026
• Duration: 90 days
• Dress code: Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, navy blue or white jackets
• Holiday requirement: 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's) including day before, day of, and day after
