23101 - Travel: RN - Telemetry I/Acute MedSurg

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Full-time position with temp to perm possibility
• Care for patients on 9th floor (rehabilitation) and 11th floor (surgical and respiratory)
• Current mix of patients on all floors due to census variations
• Epic experience preferred for charting
• Trach/Vent and Hi-flow experience recommended but not required
• Rehabilitation experience recommended but not required
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Texas RN License or compact license required
• Provide routine and complex care utilizing the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
