SLP Job in Boise, ID

You will work as a Speech Language Pathologist in an acute inpatient and outpatient setting at St Lukes Boise Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

Schedule and Environment

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 2 weekend days per month required; additional weekend shifts available if you prefer
• No holiday requirements
• Treat 8–10 patients daily across acute inpatient and outpatient caseloads

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat dysphagia and cognitive deficits
• Perform MBSS (modified barium swallow study) and VFSS (video fluoroscopic swallow study)
• FEES (fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation) available but not required
• Work with neurologic patients including CVA, MS, Parkinson's disease, Guillain Barré, and cranial and spinal surgeries
• Treat general medical, orthopedic, cardiac, and oncology patients

Requirements

• 1 year of acute experience as a CCC-SLP
• Current BLS certification
• Current CCC-SLP certification
• State licensure (ID)

Additional Information

• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Any color scrubs or business casual attire accepted
• 3–5 days of orientation covering system orientation, documentation training, and department orientation
• First-time travelers welcome
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,628.
