About this role

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. This is a 91-day travel assignment running from May 1, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week, working 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Your Role

You will provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. Your responsibilities include:

  • Perform the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
  • Partner with patients and families through bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds
  • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care
  • Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Respond to emergencies with a decisive, composed manner
  • Serve as preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses and staff
  • Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement activities
  • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education

Requirements

You must hold a current RN license (single state or compact) and possess BLS certification upon hire. PALS and ACLS certifications are required within 180 days of start, and TNCC is required within 18 months. An Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

You will need excellent time management skills, strong critical thinking abilities, and demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service competencies.

Compensation

The position offers weekly pay of $1,864.80 with a 91-day contract term.
