ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care in the Emergency Department
• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
• Partner with patients and families using bedside shift report and interdisciplinary rounds
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement activities
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with decisive, composed manner
• Required certifications upon hire: BLS, RN license (single state or compact)
• Required within 180 days: PALS, ACLS
• Required within 18 months: TNCC
• Must possess excellent time management skills and strong critical thinking abilities
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required
