Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with staggered start times between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM
• No weekend coverage or holiday requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Daily caseload of 4-10 patients per technician
• Float between SJCH and SMP (North Charleston clinic) locations
• Must have 2 years of experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification required at start
• Must be proficient in complex congenital heart defects
• Experience with GE (vivid 95) and PACS system for entering full reports preferred
• Extensive knowledge of complex heart disease and defects required
• BLS certification required
• Radiation badge not required
• Must complete non-billable modules (average 4 hours) pre-start
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• All employees and contractors assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
