TRAVEL - RN - CVICU - COST CENTER (653) - 7:00AM - 7:00PM

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - CVICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients in a 16-bed CVICU<br>• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for certain device patients<br>• Work with ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS patients<br>• Required to work 2 weekends per month<br>• Must work 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)<br>• Must work 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year&#39;s Eve, New Year&#39;s Day)<br>• Float as needed to other ICUs and floors when required<br>• Strong critical care experience required, including CVICU experience<br>• Advanced skills needed with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring<br>• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT<br>• Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations on unit<br>• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS<br>• Work with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps<br>• Document using Meditech system<br>• Dress code requires black, red, or galaxy blue scrubs with scrub jackets/vests only</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a 16-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit with 5 full-time surgeons performing high volume and advanced cardiac surgeries.
