Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Associate degree in radiation therapy required
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Provide radiation therapy services for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with various radiation therapy equipment including TrueBeam, CT simulation, and external beam therapy
• Perform patient care including tumor localization, simulation of treatment sites, and patient/family teaching
• Handle emergency cases and use rapid response/code teams when necessary
• Work with custom molds, shields, and field shaping techniques
• May be required to float to other units within the health system based on census needs
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Must complete billable modules up to 16 hours annually
