Registered Nurse - ICU @ Sutter Health Coast Hospital

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 12-hour orientation required
• Patient ratios of 2:1 during days and nights
• Daily census of 4-6 patients
• 6 beds available in a 9-room unit
• Every other weekend requirement
• On call/call off based on census
• Possibility to float to ER or Med/Surg with nurse/patient ratios of 1:4-5
• 2 years of ICU experience minimum required
• BSN degree required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified)
• California RN license required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience required
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
• Skills include accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, and management of critically ill patients
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Modules completed during orientation through e-learning platform
