Physical Therapist Job in Portales, NM

Roosevelt General Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Portales, New Mexico. This is a full-time position working 5x8 hour days on the day shift, beginning June 15, 2026.

About the Role

You will deliver patient-centered physical therapy services in a rural healthcare setting, working collaboratively with our clinical team to support patients in achieving optimal mobility and functional outcomes. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing direct physical therapy services to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining professional medical records
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Applying evidence-based physical therapy techniques to maximize patient recovery

Position Details

What We're Looking For

You hold a current degree in Physical Therapy and maintain appropriate licensure for the State of New Mexico. You are committed to maintaining professional standards, clear communication, and quality patient documentation. Experience in rural healthcare settings is valuable but not required.
