Physical Therapist Job in San Antonio, TX

As a Physical Therapist with Healthlink at Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, you will deliver direct patient care across a 13-week assignment, with the possibility of extension up to 52 weeks. This is a day shift role working 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, from 09:00 to 18:00.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services tailored to individual patient needs
• Administer and interpret therapeutic tests and treatments
• Develop realistic functional goals in collaboration with patients and their families
• Select and apply appropriate therapeutic modalities and procedures, demonstrating knowledge of indications and contraindications
• Perform thorough physical therapy assessment and clinical intervention
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to establish and adjust treatment objectives
• Maintain professional standards and best practices in all aspects of physical therapy service delivery

You will be expected to demonstrate clinical expertise, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback. This position requires strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation.
