PICU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at OU Health in Oklahoma City. This is a travel nursing position offering three 12-hour night shifts per week for 89 days, beginning June 29, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,930.40.

In this role, you will:

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients requiring intensive medical intervention and respond quickly to changes in their condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders with precision and attention to detail
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams—physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other specialists—to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records to ensure continuity of care
• Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when needed
• Utilize advanced pediatric monitoring equipment and technology to track patient status
• Support families during stressful and critical care situations, communicating clearly about their child's condition and care plan

You must hold an active RN license in Oklahoma. Your experience in pediatric or critical care nursing will be essential as you work with medically complex children and their families. Night shifts require flexibility and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient safety and compassionate care.
