Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 3x12 shift schedule
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during all shifts
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Float within skillset as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Triage experience required (hard stop)
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required (hard stop)
• Must have worked in ED setting with at least 45,600 visits per year (125/day) within past 8 months
• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Perform phlebotomy, start and maintain IVs
• Handle isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Expert prioritization and organizational skills required for fast-paced ER environment
• Must have compact license or MD license
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
