CT Technologist Job in Barberton, OH

You will work as a CT Technologist at Barberton Campus, operating Computerized Tomography and radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic CT scans and radiographs. This is a 36/40-hour work week position on a rotating day shift schedule.

Schedule and Shift Details

• 3x12 day shifts per week
• First shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts) and 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Rotating weekend schedule
• Rotating pattern: work 3 days, off 1, work 3 more, then the following week off 3 days, work 1, off 3 more
• No on-call requirements
• No holiday coverage required

Your Responsibilities

• Operate Toshiba/Cannon CT and radiologic equipment
• Support general ER procedures and stroke team operations
• Evaluate images with the Radiologist and obtain additional images as needed
• Assist with invasive procedures
• Ensure patient records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner
• Perform manual dexterity tasks including equipment calibration, patient positioning, application and adjustment of restraining devices, and intravenous contrast injections

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of CT/Radiology Technology experience
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current license as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio
• Ability to obtain CT registry within one year of hire
• Current CPR certification
