MRI Technologist Job in Myrtle Beach, SC

Join Grand Strand Regional Medical Center as an MRI Technologist on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work in an outpatient radiology MRI unit in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, performing diagnostic imaging procedures with occasional emergency room add-on cases.

Your Role

• Perform routine MRI and MRA exams, including body imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, and neuro imaging
• Administer contrast injections and perform IV placements
• Operate Signa Explorer 1.5T MRI equipment
• Manage patient flow at a ratio of one patient every 45 minutes, typically performing approximately eight procedures per day
• Utilize Meditech, GE PACS, and Intelerad documentation systems
• Work without floating requirements

Schedule & Compensation

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 days). You'll earn $2,176 weekly. Your assignment begins October 26, 2026.

Requirements

• Current ARRT MRI registry certification
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum three years of MRI technologist experience
• IV training required
• Grey scrubs required as dress code

This is an outpatient-focused role with predictable scheduling and no unit rotation, allowing you to develop strong procedural consistency and patient relationships during your stay.
