MRI Technologist Job in Albany, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 119-day travel assignment at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. You will work the night shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM (4 ten-hour shifts per week) at $2,774 weekly.

About the Role

You will perform a wide range of imaging procedures, including musculoskeletal, basic neuro, abdominal/pelvis, radiation oncology, and breast imaging. You will work with pacemaker and anesthesia patients, as well as ICU and NICU patients. The department averages 30 scans per day due to longer protocols. You will be required to start IVs as part of your duties. The facility operates 4 scanners total; agency staff cover 2 scanners plus a mobile unit.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience and Siemens experience (Philips experience preferred)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Certified MRI Technologist—ARRT (MR)
• Travel experience and Level II trauma experience are a plus
• Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius of facility based on driver's license address

What to Expect

• Weekend work only if you are hired for a weekend shift; weekends have high-volume inpatient census
• Holiday requirements based on rotation schedule
• No call or standby required, but you may volunteer if short-staffed
• 1–2 weeks of unit-specific orientation
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks
• Dress code: Black scrubs with black or gray jacket (no fleece)
• You will use MEDITECH charting system and McKesson or Change Healthcare PACS
