PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling available - option to work five 8-hour shifts instead of four 10-hour shifts
• Cover one Saturday per month at the inpatient unit with one day off during that same week
• Patient ratio of 1 to 4 patients during the day, 1 patient on weekends
• Daily census of 8 to 12 patients depending on evaluations or treatments, with approximately 10 visits per day
• One hour allocated for evaluations and 45 minutes allocated for treatments
• Treat patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics with a primary focus on adults and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include joint replacements, CVA, pain, fractures, neurological conditions, deconditioned patients, and vestibular issues
• Work alongside seasoned PTAs as well as speech therapy and occupational therapy services in the clinic
• Utilize Cerner for charting (experience preferred)
• Required certification: BLS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• West Virginia PT licensure required prior to start; pending state license accepted for submission
• Scrub color restrictions: avoid blue, forest green, or maroon as those are nursing department colors
• No on-call requirements, no float requirements, and no weekend requirements beyond the one Saturday per month inpatient shift
