Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour night shifts: Sunday through Wednesday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Perform CT scans in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment
• Create diagnostic images for trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient, intensive care, and research patients
• Assist with specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures per New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances
• Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice required
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
• Entry level position with MIT level assigned based on skill set and experience
• Provide patients with safe and positive experience during procedures
