Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM; staff remain until the last patient is discharged or admitted
• No weekend requirements and no on-call responsibilities
• Perform a minimum of 2-3 patient visits per day
• Provide pre and post-anesthesia care for cardiovascular, EP, and interventional Cath procedures for patients ranging from neonates to geriatric congenital cardiac patients
• Support sedated studies, clinic visits, and cardiac surgical workups
• Perform and interpret EKGs using EKG equipment; also utilize glucometer and iStat devices
• Cath procedures include diagnostic, valves, single ventricle pathway, and device closures (ASD, PDA)
• Support Pediatric EP procedures
• Work with a daily census of 8 patients across 6 beds and 6 rooms
• Self-scheduling with team; manager finalizes schedule to ensure even coverage with a minimum of 2 Monday and 2 Friday shifts per month
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 2+ years of RN experience required; preferred experience in procedural or pediatric ICU (cardiac preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• South Carolina RN license must be active and in hand prior to start
• Strong knowledge of normal and abnormal cardiovascular anatomy and physiology required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
