ICU RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

Franciscan Health Indianapolis is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in the Intensive Care Unit. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and every other weekend commitment (Friday and Saturday nights). There are no call requirements.

Patient Care & Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3
• Provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based care
• Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders
• Monitor mechanically ventilated patients and hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Operate equipment including Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000
• Document and communicate using the Epic EMR system
• Float to other inpatient areas when the home unit has low census

Requirements

• 2 years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Completion of FH EKG exam at time of submittal
• Comprehensive assessment skills
• Experience caring for septic and mechanically ventilated patients

Preferred Qualifications

• CRRT experience
• Familiarity with Epic EMR

Onboarding & Logistics

Your orientation includes required modules, Epic training if needed, and one day of unit orientation. You will report to 3 East in the Tower building and park in employee parking (yellow-lined spots). Navy scrubs are required; hoodies are not acceptable.

This assignment begins June 15, 2026, and offers a weekly pay rate of $2,233.80. You will work as part of a dedicated ICU team providing critical care to a diverse patient population.
