Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You will work as a Registered Nurse on the Telemetry unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026, offering three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on an every-other-weekend schedule.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient telemetry continuously and respond promptly to cardiac rhythm changes
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Float to medical-surgical floors as needed, including assignments to Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele units
• Be willing to work at the West Lakes Campus location, located 9.5 miles from downtown Des Moines

Compensation and Schedule:

You will earn $2,213.64 per week. The position requires flexibility to float across multiple medical-surgical nursing areas and acceptance of assignments to alternate campus locations as clinical needs arise.
