Telemetry RN Job in Fort Smith, AR

Mercy Hospital Fort Smith is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment on the Medical Telemetry unit (Floor 3300). You'll work the night shift, providing direct patient care in a structured environment that supports both nursing excellence and education.

Role Details

• 3x12 night shift schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation
• No call requirements
• No float requirements—you stay on your assigned unit
• Patient ratio of 6:1

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process while maintaining professional accountability
• Monitor patients via the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Coordinate care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Precept nursing students as part of your daily work

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Arkansas
• 2 or more years of nursing experience
• BLS certification preferred
• Willingness to precept and mentor students
• Professional demeanor with an upbeat, hardworking approach
