RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday coverage included
• Primary assignment in CVICU with floating to ICU and PCU units within critical care only
• May be required to float throughout Region Two facilities including St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA, St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, WA, and St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA
• ICU patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 and PCU patient ratios of 1:3
• Must have open heart experience
• Manage all ICU level drips and ventilator patients
• 82 critical care beds across three separate floors including 48 ICU and 34 PCU beds
• Charge nurse available on each floor with two nurse aides per floor
• Telemonitor technicians available in PCU only
• Respiratory therapy, IV team, and pharmacy support available 24/7
• Intensivist on site during day shift with virtual ICU coverage available at night
• Minimum of 2 shifts of floor-specific orientation provided
• Charting system: EPIC
• No scrub color requirements
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
