<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ER</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts in emergency department<br>• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for three 12-hour shifts<br>• Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends<br>• Must work every 3rd weekend as required<br>• Care for both pediatric and adult patients - comfort with both populations required<br>• 1 year of nursing experience required<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• No floating within scope required<br>• Block schedules not accommodated<br>• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract<br>• No RTO allowed during first week of assignment<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, TNCC, ENPC<br>• Navy scrubs required<br>• EPIC charting system experience preferred<br>• Free parking provided<br>• Special equipment includes Glucostabilizer and Level 1 infuser<br>• Handle variety of chief complaints including abdominal pain, chest pain, stroke symptoms, musculoskeletal injuries<br>• Daily census of 120-160 patients with 25 emergency department rooms<br>• 24-hour orientation provided<br>• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)<br>• Must complete pre-start modules within specified timeframes</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This acute care hospital features 233 total staffed beds and operates a comprehensive emergency department that treats both pediatric and adult populations.
