Med Surg RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as an RN on an 18-bed Renal Medicine unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of July 6, 2026. You will work the night shift, 3 shifts per week of 12 hours each (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM), earning $2,102.40 weekly.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform peritoneal dialysis procedures using cyclers and related equipment
• Provide direct patient care with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6
• Utilize mobilization and lift equipment, cyclers, and scales as needed
• Document patient care using the Cerner EMR system
• Float to like units or serve as a sitter when required
• Work rotating weekends and holidays

Unit Staffing and Environment

Night shift includes 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, and 1 HUC/CNA. You will collaborate with a supportive team in a structured renal care environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina
• BLS certification
• PCT certificate
• Peritoneal dialysis experience required
• BSN preferred
• Certified peritoneal dialysis nurse designation preferred
• Prior Cerner EMR experience preferred
