Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts primarily during days with some late night/evening shifts and on-call hours per unit needs
• Provide assistance to the Electrophysiologist during EP studies, ablations, and cardiac implants
• Implement EP pacing monoverse and demonstrate understanding of EP pacing concepts
• Operate GE MacLab and CardioLab systems to assist in pacing monoverse and measurements
• Assist in setup of mapping systems including Carto, Abbott, and Rhythmia during ablations
• Document procedures using Epic electronic health record system
• Communicate with physicians and in-room staff to ensure all equipment and supplies are available
• Facilitate room turnover and on-time starts for timely patient care
• Coordinate with Charge Nurse and third-party vendors to ensure team availability for scheduled procedures
• Perform or assist with RF ablations including A-fib/Flutter, Atrial tach, AVNRT, WPW, and other AVNRT ablations
• Assist with device implants including traditional pacemakers, ICDs, Sub Q ICD, leadless pacemakers, loops, and LAAC devices including Watchmans and Amulets
• Cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience preferred but not required
• GE MacLab and CardioLab system experience preferred but not required
• Bloom Stimulator experience preferred but not required
• Epic experience preferred but not required
• Required license: RCES or Radiologic Tech license
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certification: BLS (American Heart Association only)
