Endoscopy Tech - GI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5 shifts of 8 hours per shift, days and evenings with majority of shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a number system to stay if cases are not completed
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling available
• Weekend call requirements include 1 weekend per month on call from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday and Sunday
• Weeknight call requirements include a number system to finish up cases, typically 3 days per month
• Holiday on-call requirements from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• No floating requirements
• Work in a 5-suite endoscopy/GI lab environment with a 1 RN per room ratio
• Perform intra-op circulation nurse duties (no sedation)
• Common cases include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding
• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment required
• Surgical techs are present in the department
• Charting system is EPIC; knowledge of EPIC is a plus
• Scrubs provided in house
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: BLS Certification, BLS (AHA)
• Must submit active driver's license at time of submission
• 50-mile radius rule applies
