Telemetry RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel position ideal for nurses with Med-Surg/Telemetry experience who are ready to work nights.

Role Details

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within scope as needed to meet facility demands
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Unit Information

• New unit with 10 beds currently opened
• Bedside monitors with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions including diabetes, hypertension, CAD, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
• Epic charting system
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Free parking available
• 24-hour orientation provided

Requirements

• Current South Carolina license or Compact license required before start date
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 2 years of nursing experience minimum
• Experience with Med-Surg/Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and unit-based telemetry
• Community hospital experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Considerations

• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required from June through November

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,814.40
• Start date: May 19, 2026
