RN - EP Lab

Job Details:

• No weekends, holidays, or call required
• On-call not required
• Patient ratio of 5:1 during day shifts
• 40 orientation hours
• Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
• Candidates will be required to float
• Block scheduling will be accommodated when possible but not guaranteed
• No more than 1 week of requested time off per contract
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• New to travel accepted
• NY nursing license required in hand at time of submission
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must be able to scrub and/or use Micropace monitoring system for ablations
• Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and placing IVs required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required skills include: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction Studies, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion, Scrub Procedures, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Circulate Procedures, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Sheath Removal and Monitoring, Topical Hemostasis, Vascular Closure Systems, IV vasopressors, Thrombolytics, Blood Product Administration, and Emergency Medications
