ICU Registered Nurse Job in Helena, MT

St. Peter's Health in Helena, Montana is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning August 2, 2026, working three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,150.76 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in our ICU, managing critically ill patients with complex acute and post-operative conditions. You will float to Med-Surg as needed and work independently within our team-based care model.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of ICU nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience managing respiratory failure, DKA, STEMI, overdose, detoxification, CHF, and complex post-operative surgical cases
• Proficiency with BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, heparin drips, insulin drips, and amiodarone infusions
• Competency with Epic EMR

Required Credentials and Licenses

• Current Montana or compact nursing license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications—all must be active

Important Information
