Occupational Therapist Job in West Branch, MI

MyMichigan Health - West Branch is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in their Rehabilitation department. You'll work days Monday through Friday on a 5x8 schedule with no call requirements and no weekend commitments.

Your Role

You will deliver occupational therapy services in a primarily acute care setting with some outpatient therapy services. Your responsibilities include:

• Evaluate patient function using formal and informal testing measures
• Develop goal-specific treatment regimens based on assessment data
• Create frequency and duration-specific treatment schedules
• Submit written treatment plans coordinated with physicians
• Provide patient, family, and caregiver education regarding conditions and treatments
• Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, Home Health Aides, and students
• Delegate responsibilities to support staff as appropriate

Requirements

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist License
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Skills checklist current within the last 12 months
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Occupational therapy experience required
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
