X-Ray Technician Job in Lapeer, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 91-day travel assignment at McLaren Lapeer Region in Lapeer, Michigan. You will work the night shift, 4 days per week at 10 hours per day, earning $2,151 weekly.

About the Role

You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to capture radiographic images of patients' internal anatomy. Working closely with physicians and clinical teams, your imaging work directly supports accurate diagnosis of injuries and diseases. You will interact with patients throughout their imaging procedures, explaining steps and ensuring their comfort and safety during scans.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray machines and specialized imaging equipment according to protocols
• Position patients appropriately for accurate imaging and minimal radiation exposure
• Communicate clearly with patients to reduce anxiety and ensure compliance
• Maintain detailed imaging records and documentation
• Assist physicians in the Operating Room (OR) during surgical imaging procedures
• Follow all radiation safety standards and infection control procedures

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray technician experience
• Operating Room (OR) experience required
• ARRT certification required

Schedule Details

This is a night shift position: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day. You will work an every other weekend schedule. There are no on-call responsibilities.
