Emergency Department RN Job in Greeley, CO

Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026, with a 3x12 day shift schedule and weekly pay of $2,446.20.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients across varied acuity levels
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history and physical with patient and family within appropriate timeframe
• Monitor diagnostics and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care with attention to discharge planning
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other personnel
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in unit shared leadership and staff education activities
• Float to Banner Fort Collins Medical Center (BFCMC) as needed to support operations

Schedule

Work on an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation per unit schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Colorado
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience in emergency nursing
• Experience in acute care setting within the past 12 months as an RN
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC RN, NIH, and CO CAPS
• Telemetry competency verification upon arrival at facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Professional RN certification
