CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts
• First to float when census requires
• No weekend requirements
• Holiday requirements include 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• No standby or on-call requirement
• Perform CT imaging studies including brain, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, and angiography procedures
• Assist with biopsies, drainage procedures, and cryoablation
• Average 85-100 scans/studies per day across 2 scanner rooms
• Operate Canon 16 Slice and Canon 80 Slice CT scanners
• Use Radnet and Merge PACS for imaging archival and communication
• Chart using Cerner EMR system
• Work under the direction of Lead Technologist with in-house Radiologist available during days and on call after hours
• IV starts not required - handled by IR nurses, floor nurses, or ED nurses as needed
• Wear teal scrubs per department dress code
• Agency is responsible for providing film/radiology badge
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT), Fluoroscopy
• California CRT license required
