Medical Lab Technician Job in Hamburg, IA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for a 91-day travel assignment at Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, IA. You will work 3x12 rotating shifts and earn $1,580 weekly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform, interpret, and correlate clinical laboratory tests according to established procedures and protocols
• Accurately communicate and document test results in a timely manner to support patient care and treatment decisions
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring proper documentation of quality control activities
• Identify and resolve routine equipment issues and report complex malfunctions to the Laboratory Supervisor
• Adhere to all laboratory policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
• Collaborate effectively with providers, nursing staff, and fellow laboratory team members

What we need from you:

• Current state license in Iowa
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, or Chemical Science from an accredited institution; or Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science from an accredited institution; or successful completion of an accredited clinical laboratory training program approved by ABHES, CAAHEP, HHS, or another recognized accrediting organization
• ASCP certification or equivalent

Weekend call is required. No overtime is available. Assignment begins October 14, 2026.
