Opportunity:

RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Work in Infusion/Chemotherapy department supporting program growth and expansion
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 4-chair infusion center (2 chairs per room)
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio during days and weekends
• Complete 24-hour orientation program
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• Provide comprehensive chemotherapy administration and infusion services
• Manage ports, central lines, and IV access
• Monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions
• Educate patients and families on treatment protocols
• Handle cytotoxic medications and maintain safety protocols
