Job Details:

• Day shift position working 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call required every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend, including some holidays
• Must be within 30 minutes of the facility while on call
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Work setting includes Ambulatory OR and General OR covering Surg/PACU/Endoscopy
• Cases include General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, and Cataracts
• Treat patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be through American Heart Association)
• Preferred certifications: PALS, NRP
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Required skills include endoscopic procedures (Colonoscopy, EGD, Laparoscopic assisted cases, PEG tube placement/exchange), general surgery (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy), gynecology (Hysterectomy, Bilateral tubal ligation, C-sections, D&C, Laparoscopic assisted procedures), ophthalmology (Cataract extraction/implant), orthopedic procedures (ACL reconstruction, Arthroscopy, Carpal tunnel release, Fracture reductions, Total joint replacement), and pediatric general surgery (Appendectomy)
• Preferred skills include ENT (Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy) and endoscopic procedures (Bronchoscopy)
• WV or Compact nursing license required; pending license accepted for submission
