PACU RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

Join Franciscan Health Indianapolis as a PACU RN on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work four 10-hour shifts per week on days, providing post-anesthesia and pre-operative care in a 20-bed unit.

Schedule & Hours

• Primary shift: 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with occasional 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend shifts unless needed
• Minimal call requirements—no more than 3 to 4 shifts per 6-week schedule if needed
• Late stays Monday through Friday as needed
• No float requirements

Role Details

• Care for all types of surgery patients: general, colorectal, GYN, urology, uro-GYN, bariatric, and orthopedic
• Patient ratios: 1:1 in Pre-Op and 3:1 in Post-Op
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• EMR system: EPIC
• Equipment: Phase 2

Requirements

• Current RN license
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Pre-Op and Post-Op care
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
