Endoscopy Technician

Opportunity:

Endoscopy Tech - GI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 shifts per week at 10 hours per shift with rotating call
• Assist nursing staff and physician during procedures including polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations
• Disinfect and process endoscopic equipment and assist with troubleshooting of equipment
• Set up procedure rooms and stock rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
• Transport patients as needed and assist patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff
• Apply EKG monitors, blood pressure cuffs, and pulse oximetry prior to start of case
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience required
• Advanced case endoscopy experience required - must be able to assist with high level, complex cases
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Colorado DORA Surgical Tech Registration required - must have card in hand prior to submission
• Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program certification highly preferred
• Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification highly preferred
