CT Technologist Job in New Orleans, LA

Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 5 days per week on day shift (8-hour days) at an estimated weekly pay of $2,840.

Role Overview

You will float between the Emergency Department, main campus, outpatient facilities, and nearby clinics within walking distance of the main campus. You will operate GE CT equipment across 7 patient care rooms, working with all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Epic experience is essential for this role.

Requirements

• CT Certification (ARRT (CT)) required
• Compact or Louisiana license required at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT technology
• Prior travel healthcare experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Demonstrated experience in ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT settings
• GE equipment proficiency required
• Epic electronic health record system experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted)

Assignment Details

Orientation runs 5 days per week with billable modules. You must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing your contract. You are expected to work holidays that fall on scheduled workdays. During emergency events, you may be assigned to the Emergency Team and expected to remain at the facility until the event concludes.
