Cath Lab Technologist

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Rotational 24-hour call required, 8 to 12 days per month
• One weekend of call per month (Friday through Sunday)
• Minimum of 5 weekdays and 8 total days per month on call
• Adults only patient population with a daily census of approximately 15 cases
• Cath lab scrub, pan, and closures for all heart and leg procedures required
• Device insertions including pacemakers and ICDs required
• IR and EP experience preferred; facility willing to train
• 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R), BLS, CCI RCIS
• ARRT with state license or RCIS required
• Key skills include: cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology lab, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, pacemaker insertion and programming, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, TAVR, transcatheter procedures, interventional radiology, fluoroscopy, sterile technique, and vascular closure systems
• Special equipment used includes: Impella, Claris/Ensite X, IABP, Penumbra, Shockwave, IVUS, and OCT
• Special procedures include leadless pacers and Amulet
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
