ICU RN Job in Smyrna, Tennessee

You'll work as an RN in a 16-bed Intensive Care Unit at Stonecrest Medical Center TN, providing direct patient care on a 3x12 night shift schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 4, 2026.

Role Expectations

• Manage patient care with 2:1 patient ratios
• Work every other weekend as scheduled
• Rotate with full-time staff and other travelers per floating policy
• Deliver advanced clinical skills including ventilator and sedation management, medication titration, trach placement assistance, bronchoscopy support, and cardioversion procedures

Required Certifications & Skills

• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Demonstrated positive attitude, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis medication dispensing system, and Drager ventilators
• Competency with Meditech documentation system

Patient Care Standards

• Implement AIDET communication principles
• Complete communication boards with patients
• Provide medication teaching and education

Support & Environment

• Tech support available on the unit
• Charcoal gray scrubs required as uniform

You'll earn $1,839.60 per week. This assignment is ideal if you have ICU experience and are comfortable with complex critical care procedures and technology-dependent patient populations.
